Come build a climate-positive future with us! We are looking for Procurement Manager to join our Procurement team. As a Procurement Manager, you will work on project, operation and maintanance and overhead procurement.
The role is responsible for establishing, managing and leading Nevel procurement activities and processes in Finland, Sweden and Estonia. The role ensures effective supplier risk management, supports uninterrupted operations and drives continuous improvement of procurement practices with the goal of optimizing total cost of ownership.
Key responsibilities:
Establish, update, and manage Nevel’s frame agreements
Baseline, monitor, and report spend across categories, locations and currencies
Create, communicate, and implement sourcing category strategies and execution plans for assigned subcategories, in close alignment with internal stakeholders
Execute strategic sourcing projects, lead contract negotiations, manage key suppliers and ensure optimized total cost and performance
Define, implement, and improve procurement processes and digital tools (e.g., contract management, purchase-to-pay)
Identify, initiate, and lead continuous improvement initiatives such as competitive biddings, working capital improvements and category development programs.
The role works closely with:
Directors – for strategic guidance, approvals and feedback
Business controllers – for spend analysis and purchase-to-pay governance
Area and site managers – for defining procurement criteria and ensuring timely deliveries and inventory sufficiency
Project Managers
Fuel manager/s – to improve performance in this key spend category
DOP/IT – to acquire and maintain fit-for-purpose procurement tools and data security
ESG – to integrate sustainability into procurement and ensure supplier compliance.
Key qualifications for excelling in this role include:
3 - 6 years' of experience of similar positions
You have a bachelor's or master's degree in technology, economics, or another related field
You work and communicate both in Finnish and in English. Knowledge of Swedish language is advantage
You have excellent negotiating skills. You also have the ability to network, and you have a proactive communication style.

The salary for this position ranges between 6300-7100€/month, depending on your relevant previous experience and skills.
